Songs for the New Album:
Pleasant Green Plunge

Written in honor of our 30 year high school reunion for my friends in Goodlettsville, Tennessee, who are the only people in the world who could tell you what a Pleasant Green Plunge IS... iIs it a toilet cleaner? A dessert topping? A dance? A sexual position? Tune in to find out.

What I Do Instead of Passing Gas
Scheduled for release right after the next Guns 'n' Roses record comes out.
Summer Avenue

Originally a piano duet played on that poorly tuned "old upright piano" to the time of a BAD drum machine, this song evolved from many trips down Summer Avenue in Forrest's vintage convertible LeSabre coupe. The first was a trip to buy my first color TV in 1985 from Berclair Television.

Once, while cruising in the LeSabre, we met a large group of street professionals advertising their services in broad daylight. They were all wearing the same color magenta lipstick. Very interesting to a group of young men who couldn't even afford an ice cream cone.

Party Club

Written to celebrate the lives of my best friends Tom Stewart, David Looney, Doug Gilbert, Tammy Dixon, Danielle Harmon, and all the other family and friends who have died way too young. The title is from a recurring good idea by Scott Johnson, who recently discovered that we were having regular Party Club meetings (his good idea), but that he had slept through most of them. Thanks to Tammy and Jeff Rule for a Woodstock- like home going party I will never forget, complete with bagpipes.
